The Esfandar Iron Ore Mine is strategically positioned approximately 53 km southeast of Abarkuh city in Yazd province, providing convenient access for transportation and operations. The nearest settlement to the mine is Esfand Abad village, located just 7 km northwest of the site. The area under study is situated 330 km from Isfahan and can be reached via the Isfahan – Abadeh – Suemaq – Abarkuh – Mehrdasht – Haruni road. Access to the reserve is facilitated by a well-maintained dirt road that spans less than 1 km from Haruni village. With an operating license allowing for an area of 5.4 square km, the mine has ample space for extraction and processing activities.
